SafetyHood (escape protection)    

The threat of bio-terroism and CBR chemical biological radiological agents has been declared to be with us for 30 years (see newsletter). Although death may be unlikely, chronic health effects may result from exposure to contaminates.Escape routes may often be through contamination such as smoke, asbestos, or CBR agents.The safetyhood provides emergency escape protection wherever you are with the low cost pocket respirator. Biohood-100   

The possibility of bird flu pandemic, SARS or other emerging or developing disease requires adequate PPE personl protective equipement. The usually accepted PPE mask or respirator of FFP3 or N95 provided adequate protection against some bacteria but recently published studies by the CDC Centre of Disease Control found that during the SARS epidemic of 2003 that these masks and respirators  gave no protection at all.(see Downloads) All masks and respirators leak when the mouth, jaw or facial muscles move and this causes inward leakage, by passing the filtration. The Biohood-100 removes this leakage factor and provides total protection to eyes, ears, mouth and nose, sealing around the neck it prevents the acknowledged leakage factors it ensures the air you breath has been filtered.
